Manchester City fell further behind in the Premier League title race after drawing 2-2 with Nottingham Forest at the Etihad Stadium.

Arsenal extended its lead at the top of the Premier League to seven points on Wednesday. The leaders secured a 1-0 victory against Brighton at the Amex Stadium through a ninth-minute goal from Bukayo Saka. This result moved Mikel Arteta's side to 67 points after 30 matches, according to Sky Sports.

Manchester City twice surrendered the lead in its match against Nottingham Forest. January signing Antoine Semenyo opened the scoring for the hosts before Morgan Gibbs-White equalised in the second half. Rodri restored the lead with a header, but Elliot Anderson secured a point for Forest with a strike from distance in the 76th minute.

City manager Pep Guardiola expressed disappointment with the result but stated his team must keep going, per Reuters. The draw leaves City on 60 points with a game in hand over Arsenal. Forest moved to 17th place in the table with 28 points, following the draw at the Etihad Stadium.
