YouTuber KSI has acquired a minority shareholding in National League side Dagenham & Redbridge with aims of reaching the top flight.

Olajide Olatunji, known as KSI, has purchased a minority stake in Dagenham & Redbridge, according to Sky Sports. The YouTuber and boxer announced the investment on Tuesday. The East London club currently competes in the National League, the fifth tier of English football.

KSI stated his intention to take the club from its current position to the Premier League. The influencer previously partnered with the club through his hydration brand, Prime, which became the official shirt sponsor in 2023. This sponsorship followed his appearances at the Chigwell Construction Stadium for various charity matches, per The Guardian.

Dagenham & Redbridge currently sits in the bottom half of the National League table. The club was formed in 1992 following a merger between Dagenham and Redbridge Forest. Ownership confirmed that the existing board will continue to oversee daily operations. This move follows a trend of high-profile celebrities investing in lower-league British football clubs to increase global visibility and commercial revenue.
