Northern Ireland women's interim manager Kris Lindsay prepares for a World Cup qualifier against Turkey at Mourneview Park on Saturday.

Northern Ireland's interim manager Kris Lindsay says he is relishing a return to Mourneview Park for Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Turkey. The match marks the first time the senior women's team has played at the Lurgan venue since 2011. Lindsay previously managed Glenavon at the stadium for three years and described the return as a special occasion, according to the Irish Football Association.

Northern Ireland currently sit third in their qualifying group following a recent 1-1 draw against Hungary. Lindsay's side aim to secure three points to maintain their push for a tournament place. Turkey arrive in Lurgan after a 2-1 defeat to England in their previous fixture. The visitors occupy fourth position in the standings, per UEFA.

Midfielder Rachel Furness remains unavailable due to a long-term knee injury suffered in January. However, captain Marissa Callaghan is fit to lead the team after recovering from a minor knock. Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00 GMT on Saturday afternoon.
