Watford Women will play their final two home matches of the season at Vicarage Road as they pursue promotion to the second tier.

Watford Women have confirmed their return to Vicarage Road for the final home fixtures of the current campaign. The Golden Girls usually play their home matches at Grosvenor Vale in Ruislip but will move to the club's main stadium for two matches this April. The fixtures involve a meeting with Billericay Town on 12 April and a final home game against Hashtag United on 26 April, according to Watford FC.

The move follows a 14-0 victory over Worthing on Sunday. That result moved the side into first place in the FA Women's National League South, per the FA Full-Time portal. Watford Women now lead the division by two points with five games remaining in the season.

General manager Helen Ward stated the return to the 22,220-capacity stadium provides a platform for the players during the title run-in. The club previously set a record attendance for a women's match at the ground during the 2022-23 season, per the Watford Observer.
